PURUS® Way Oils are designed for lubricating the ways of all types of machine tools and other applications where a tacky, high film strength, extreme pressure properties are required. PURUS® Way Oils are blended from highly refined base oils and have been fortified with select additives and adhesive agents to impart excellent lubricity and extreme pressure properties. A high lubricity character helps to reduce friction and drag that can cause “stick-slip” problems and machine tool carriage chatter. The extreme pressure additives and the high film strength of the PURUS® Way Oils effectively control wear and galling of system components. This is achieved by exhibiting high film strength while a special Tackifier prevents the fluid from draining away from the lubricated surface and minimizes squeeze out on heavily loaded ways.

Suitable for use in applications calling for the former Fives Cincinnati P-50 (220) and P-47 (68) specifications (obsolete) and all types of machine tool slideways. Machine tools include lathes, planers, shapers, drilling machines, milling machines and screw machines.
