Although it has the viscosity of automotive gear oils of the same grade, this product is specially formulated for motorcycle transmissions using wet clutches and separate engine oil sumps. Lucas Oil Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Gear Oil delivers outstanding frictional and extreme pressure protection to ensure gears, bearings, and clutches are shielded from premature wear. Our formulation is yellow metal safe and will not corrode Copper or Bronze parts. We combine state-of-the-art additive chemistry with shear stable polymer technology to deliver extended service intervals and to ensure maximum performance over the life of the fluid. Our high-performance product stands up to high horsepower and high temperatures.
