It is slow to evaporate and leaves a strong corrosion resistant film after use. Our Non-drying formulation is safe for use with most non-metallic materials common on modern firearms, including polymer frames and common factory finished. It is effective when used with patches and bore brushes. Lucas Bore solvent is the ideal fluid for use with Ultrasonic Gun Cleaners (grips and stocks removed), and has a pleasant scent that won’t have you running for the hills.

Ideal for use in all barrels of all calibers including shotguns, rifles, and handguns. Effective for the removal of powder residues, lead, copper, and nickel allows from barrel rifling and chambers. Also effective to remove primer or oil residue from casings prior to tumbling and reloading.
