JAX PürGel Klear is a pure white, kosher petrolatum for use as a release agent. It can be used in a wide variety of applications in both food processing and non food processing industries and can be applied to all types of surfaces, including plastic parts.Applications:
Any assembly, barrier or release application for holding o-rings or gaskets
- Coating cutting blades or augers
- Coating grinder blades to provide lubrication for start-up
- Coating seals around doors for apple/pear storage
- Meat grinders
- Electronic contacts to prevent water from penetrating into slaughterhouse switches after cleaning with pressurized water
- Lube for meat tube and casing parts in sausage stuffing operations
- Assembly of sanitary pumps to keep the o-ring in place on the covers to keep them from slipping.
- Can be used in place of an o-ring in low pressure applications on the o-ring cavities as the seal. This eliminates the possibility of any o-ring rubber getting into the product and thus helping reduce the possibility of recalling a batch.
