- Cleans Fuel Injectors: Howes Meaner Power Kleaner uses its superior IDX4® detergent, a powerful top tier detergent, to provide maximum cleaning power. IDX4® cleans the toughest deposits from your injectors and keeps them clean, improving performance and fuel economy. When used as directed, Meaner Power Kleaner reduces emissions by providing more complete fuel combustion, reducing the need for cetane improvers.
- Adds Lubricity: Howes Meaner Power Kleaner provides increased lubricity to injectors, pumps and upper cylinders, adding to engine performance and life with today’s Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fuels.
- Removes Water: Many products emulsify or disperse water and frequently use alcohols or solvents that can do damage to your engine. Meaner Power Kleaner is a premium, petroleum based product that demulsifies water, safely removing it from diesel fuel. It contains no alcohol or other harmful solvents, making it warranty safe for all diesel emission systems.
- IDX4 Detergent: IDX4® is a Howes proprietary detergent effective for cleaning out all types of injector deposits including Internal Diesel Injector Deposits (IDID) caused by newer High Pressure Common Rail systems.
